Free Local Bus Rides to the Protest

The Welfare Rights Committee, the Minnesota Immigrants Rights Action Coalition and U of MN Students for a Democratic Society are organizing bus service to help local folks get to the protest from campus, low-income and immigrant communities.

Minneapolis

St. Paul

University of Minnesota

West Metro
The bus will depart the Target parking lot at Highway 7 & 101, in Minnetonka, at approx. 11:15. It will make an additonal stop at the park 'n ride lot on 394 & Louisiana Ave. in St. Louis Park. We anticipate arriving at the Capitol by 12:30. The march starts at 1:00 PM and we expect to return to the Capitol by 4:00, when we will immediately board our bus to take us back to our cars. The estimated cost is $6/person if we fill the bus. We will collect the fare when we board. Sponsored by Lake Country Progressives.
